The Wild pigsposed the menace to the crops under the morni hills and in the riverine tracts. Chital,Sambar And the Kakkar (Barking Deer) were plentiful. The morni hills were famousfor Pheasant and the Jungle Fowl shooting. The small game shooting included hares and the grey partridges. By 1914 Sirmur State had completely prohibited the hunting of the tiger.

The park was part of the larger game-plan to the introduce outdoor activities and adventure sports to the Morni hills.The park offered a series of the rope obstacles such as the spider’s web, river crossing,Tarzan’s swing and the Burma Bridge etc.A rock-climbing wall with grips for the practicing climbing and the short vertical drop for the rappelling were the other outdoor the activities. A Kayaking andangling were to be the introduced in the adjoining Tikkar taal. Open-air lakeside camping with evening bonfires was the planned.
