Tikkar Taal

The tikkar taal feels good only in winters.The temperature hare equals that chandigarh.
There are a couple of spots on the way,which are a very good for enjoying sun in winters.The 
tikkar Taal mountain Quial Restaurant,it is a very nice scene. It is a children park very close to 
this restaurant. 

It is a very nice place.The Adventure Park at  the Tikkar Taal, around 50 km from the 

Chandigarh, was set up by Haryana Tourism in 2005 to the promote adventure 

tourism in the Shivalik hills.

• Average place 

The tikkar taal restaurant has a limited menu.The food quality is below average.The boats 

were there but not operational at that time. I think water level was a low.The morni hills may 
be a good choice if you like peaceful places.A very few tourists even on weekends.

• Tikkar Taal and Morni Hills

I have constructed the farm home near morni have been visiting it off and on from the 
chandigarh for the past five years.The Tikkar Taal from time to time until built the property 
there recently.The twin lakes of Tikkar Taal.The bhara taal is called Bhim taal and chota 
taal is called draupdi taal.

Tikkar Taal Picnic  

The tikkar taal is a good picnic spot.It can be enjoyed with the family.It is very good view like a velley. The view of the lake is very beautiful. The tikkar taal is a very peaceful place.The boating is also available that too in very less money.

Tikkar taal is a very beautiful place .Had a great time with a family.It is a beautiful location with lovely view of the Lake and mountains.You can have enjoy the boating though we just relaxed had food. Food though are not many options was good. Had paneer pakodas and noodles. It is a good romantic place too. If you around the Chandigarh do the visit.It is around 9 kilometres from the Morni hills point.

•  Excellent Weekend Getaway

The morni hills and the other in a tikkar taal. A scenic beauty a will mesmerize you along with 

the boating ride. The hotel staff were courteous and the food is also decent I'd you go for the 

regular North Indian food. It is a perfect destination for the weekend in morni hills.

The morni hills only 2 drawbacks or the if you like it that way is this  the place doesn't have 
mobile network nor the hotel has any landline facilities. They also don't accept the cards 
neither there are any atms so ensure to carry cash for the all transactions.

• Tikkar Taal Facilities

1) There is a no direct connectivity to conact the hotel which is a big issue at the tikkar taal 
hotel.

2) The hotel is a horrible state of  the affair.It is a dirty and the rooms provided to me had a 
sheet of dust on the bedsheet and the rooms cleaned again after the checkin.

3)  It is the dining area or the restaurant is also in the pathetic condition.

4) The seats in the restaurant are the broken or are in the bad shape.

5) When it the rains a rain water enters the room.

6) There is a no intercom facility in the hotel premises and for the every small issues we have 
to get up and go the reception to a get the issues addressed.

7) The bathroom fittings also a do not work. It is the Shower in our room wasare not working. 
The Towels provided were also a dirty.The more facilities are available.

• Lakeside Resort For Tikkar Taal

We are the small resort on  the Tikkar Lake, an hour (50 km) from the Chandigarh, 38 
km from the Panchkula.

Our  the infrastructure comprises of a cafe serving a variety of snacks & Indian cuisine and the limited international cuisine in a range of indoor & gardensettings.We are also have size-able lawns which can be used for the parties as well as a play area for the children. Available are the outdoor activities include rowing,trekking, rock-climbing & mountains around us.More than the land & the building though,we are an emergent online & the offline travel resource on the Indian Himalaya a meeting point for  the adventurers: travelers, trekkers and the climbers planning their next trip or looking to swap the stories on their last outing.
